Our project idea

We are vertically growing peas, radishes,

We will make a vertical garden for a biology project. It will use repurposed materials like soda bottles. It will be awesome. We are planting Spinach, Lettuce, Radishes, Peas, Watermelon, and Lavender.

Plant type: Cucumbers=42 days
Summer- die in frost
Sunlight is best-full sun

ready harvest when 6 to 8 in. long
begin sowing any time from end of March

Plant type: peas= 70-80 days
full sun or part sun
ready to harvest keep peas in morning after dew has dried- 3 weeks after a plant blossoms more cool weather crops

Plant type: Radishes- 3 weeks
Hardy cool season
full sun
radishes ready to harvest fast

Plant type: lettuce
hardy vegetable
part sun
cool season 45 F and 65 F
Direct sowing is recommended
Sow additional seeds every 2 weeks for continuous sowing
harvest when full size just before maturity

Plant type: spinach
sow directly in vegetable beds
full sun
fall winter and early spring
sow seeds 1/2 in. to 1 in deep
sow 12 seeds harvest when desired size
